March 10, 2021Just three months after WLR, Carti hints on Instagram at wanting to drop a new project soon.
May, 2021Carti starts using WLR voice in a lower tone (e.g. "all the funds")
July 7, 2021Carti goes to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to work on Donda, Ye encourages carti to evolve his aesthetic and sound, which leads Carti to experimenting with deeper, more experimental sounds (which would eventually become the modern deep voice and formant voice)
