The Lonny Breaux demos, the Blonde outtakes fans still chase and a project shelved in 2020 — Frank Ocean's vault, era by era.

Open the Frank Ocean tracker

Frank Ocean has released little and kept people waiting for years at a time, which makes every unreleased song of his something fans go looking for: the demos from before he took the name, the outtakes from two acclaimed albums, and a project he shelved in 2020. On unreleased.world his vault holds 341 unreleased tracks across 9 projects and 9 eras, counted live from the catalogue. This guide takes it era by era; to listen, you can open the Frank Ocean tracker on unreleased.world.

Who is Frank Ocean?

Frank Ocean grew up in New Orleans and moved to Los Angeles in 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, to make music. He wrote songs for other artists, joined the collective Odd Future and signed with Def Jam, and in 2011 released the mixtape nostalgia, ULTRA. for free. His debut album, channel ORANGE, followed in 2012. Four years later, in August 2016, he released the visual album Endless and, a day later, Blonde. Since then there have been singles and his radio show, blonded RADIO, but no new album.

What the Frank Ocean tracker holds

The community tracker lists 363 Frank Ocean songs and versions — a small vault next to the rappers' on this site, and a lopsided one. Most of what it lists from his songwriting years has surfaced in full, while its largest era, blonde, is mostly songs known to exist that nobody has heard — the gap fans chase.

The numbers on this page are read from the catalogue and the community tracker every hour, so they will keep changing as songs surface.

Every Frank Ocean era, in order

The community Frank Ocean tracker files 363 entries — songs and their alternate versions — into 9 eras, oldest first. Every one of them has its own page on unreleased.world, with the full tracklist and every song ready to play.

The eras worth knowing

Lonny Breaux and Broken Glass

Broken Glass (3 tracks) is the oldest era: a project the tracker says he began in 2006 and scrapped by 2008. Lonny Breaux (141 tracks) follows — the demos and songs written for other artists under the name he used before Frank Ocean, and the era where the most has surfaced in full.

nostalgia,ULTRA. and channel ORANGE

nostalgia,ULTRA. (33 tracks) covers the mixtape the tracker says was first planned as Triptape, and channel ORANGE (24 tracks) the debut album, including the abridged re-release of the mixtape, nostalgia, LITE, that was cancelled in 2012.

Endless and blonde

Endless (27 tracks) and Blonde (61 tracks) are the 2016 albums, and blonde — first known as Boys Don't Cry — is the deepest era on the tracker. Many of the tracker's grails come from it, several known only from snippets.

After Blonde

Blonded Radio (17 tracks) gathers the singles and loose songs of 2016 to 2018. Look At Us, We're In Love (27 tracks) is the project of 2019 and 2020 that the tracker says was shelved in 2020, and Upcoming (8 tracks) holds everything since, including “Come On World, You Can't Go!”, previewed on the last episode of blonded RADIO in December 2021.

The Frank Ocean tracker's grails and favourites

Beside the full list, many community trackers keep two short ones: grails — the songs collectors prize most, some of which have never surfaced in full — and a best-of. These are the Frank Ocean tracker's own, in its order and synced every hour, with what has surfaced of each and a link wherever unreleased.world can play it.
