The Post-Breakup era
Post-Breakup is the Days Of The New era Post-Breakup (2018) belongs to. It is the only project from this era on unreleased.world so far.
After the disastrous end of the Full Circle tour, Days of the New is considered to have ended as a musical concept with Travis being the only member left and having no hired musicians to perform with. A period of turmoil for Travis followed after the band's dissoultion, marked by multiple relapses and arrests.
- Aug 31st, 2018After roughly 3 years in and out of jail and rehab, Travis plays his first concert in 4 years, playing the band's older catalogue but also some more recent tracks
- April 26th, 2020Travis is arrested again for drug-related charges
- August 2020A mass leak of Days of the New material takes place through the Maestro Meeks channel, including Aqua Marine Shuttle and 3 early versions of Purple in their entirety, along with a large amount of final studio cuts intended for Tree Colors; helps to bring in a new generation of DOTN fans and revives interest overall
- March 3rd, 2021A bootleg of leaked Days of the New recordings is released on streaming services, first as "The Gift" and then "Illusion Is Now"; both are taken down eventually but help to revive fan interest in the band
