Ditching the specific color theme of previous albums while returning to the world-music influences that shaped the Green album along with the acoustic focus of Orange, Tree Colors explored a much more theatrical and ambitious sound.
- October 2007Days of the New enters a studio in New York and begins recording Tree Colors
