Yeat teased a file titled "ken lone - ready v3.0 open" in an Instagram Story captioned "Dis krazy" on February 4, 2022, leading to believe he was going to record over the track's open verse. However, it is unknown whether Yeat ever actually recorded over the track. Falsely associated with a different unreleased track by Yeat. The original completed version of "ready" by Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely prior to adding an open verse for Yeat was previewed by Mia Owens in an Instagram Story on April 17, 2022 and by Ken Carson in an Instagram Story via the @user00xman account in 2022. It eventually leaked in full on August 4, 2023.
