According to Ty, Chris King was present during the entire Airplane Mode 2 session but was asleep in Studio B for the whole time, only waking up to record for "Purple In My Punch" and one other song before going back to sleep. According to damn james!, Chris King was hanging out with him and Ty for "four or five days" around the time of the Airplane Mode 2 session and recorded on "a few" songs for the project, but James ultimately decided to keep only what he considered to be Chris' best verse, which was on "Purple In My Punch". Chris King would also state that he and Ty have "MULTIPLE bangers together". Chris King recorded a verse for "Designer Drugs", and it's speculated that he also recorded on "None Like U", as it was previewed in his video of the Airplane Mode 2 session alongside "Purple In My Punch" and "Designer Drugs". "None Like U" and "Designer Drugs" are also the only tracks on the project to contain open verses besides "2 Myself". Because the open verse on "2 Myself" was already present from the original version of the song recorded in 2019, and Chris King's verse from "Designer Drugs" was cut, it's speculated that "None Like U" also featured a verse from Chris King that was later removed. Chris and Ty were also seen during the session freestyling over the beat for "None Like U".
