Pedro Pool was in the session when Kanye recorded for the "Ego" (Remix). He described the recording process: "First, he stayed in the booth listening to the instrumental in a loop for about 15 minutes. So he started recording verses at random. He went back to the technician and asked the engineer to put the verses in the correct order. He listened a few times to what he had recorded, then went back to the booth and recorded the good version!"
