"When the White and Asian kid better than you expected" JVB would then prioritize making Rap music over EDM, after Joey Valence entered and won a 10K freestyle contest, using the Crank It Up beat. They would soon after release their first Rap EP, The Underground Sound EP, mixing Rap with EDM sound. Many V1 songs from this era were reworked and released on NO HANDS.
