During an AMA on The Inevitable website, A fan asked J. Cole "What was the first song you recorded for fall off that made the final tracklist?" J. Cole replied "This is a great question. The answer is Legacy. That song not only stood the test of time, it went through phases and got better and better with more love and attention. One day this year I plan to put the different iterations of that song on the blog, so people can hear how it progressed."
