EAT was released in partnership with WWE NXT, serving as the program's soundtrack for 2021. On March 14th, 2021, Poppy performed the then-unreleased song "EAT" at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. Poppy also debuted "Say Cheese" at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver on April 8th, 2021. The EP was a surprise release.
