Lil Boat 3 is Lil Yachty’s fourth studio album and the follow-up to October 2018’s Nuthin’ 2 Prove. The album is also the final entry in Yachty’s Lil Boat trilogy, which began in March 2016. Yachty first announced the album on May 4, 2019, in a post on Instagram. An October 2019 version was known to exist, followed by a December 2019 copy that got reworked after criticism from Young Thug.
