After the third version of Relapse 2 was turned down by the label, Eminem decided to scrap it, and instead evolve it into Recovery, making many new songs for it such as Love The Way You Lie, Seduction, and Not Afraid, whilst also taking his favorite songs from the Relapse 2 sessions such as On Fire, Cold Wind Blows, and So Bad and moving them onto Recovery as well.
