The Wiiic City era
Wiiic City is the Chief Keef era Wiiic City belongs to. It is the only project from this era on unreleased.world so far.
Before mastering the drill sound, a teenage Keef built a hyper-local buzz on early YouTube and MySpace while living in Chicago’s Parkway Gardens, known locally as WIIIC City. Here he crucially became acquainted with DJ Kenn, and released unmixed and unmastered tracks over Kenn's own beats as well remixes of established artists such as Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne.
