The Drill era
Drill is the Chief Keef era Drill belongs to. It is the only project from this era on unreleased.world so far.
This marks the true birth of the Chicago Drill sound, heavily influenced by Keef being placed on house arrest at his grandmother’s house due to a gun charge. Unable to leave, he shot lo-fi, high-energy music videos in her living room, collaborating with DJ Kenn and Young Chop to develop a raw, bass-heavy style.
