Something New is the Charlie Puth era Something New belongs to. It is the only project from this era on unreleased.world so far.
Shortly after Charlie's decision to scrap the R&B project, he released the Taylor Swift inspired lead single "Hero". The track unfortunately underperformed and Charlie said it was unrelated to the album. He teased some tracks with similar sound but none of them came out. In December of 2024 he previewed 2 songs on the "Something New" tour but later decided to scrap them too.
